The L.E.A.D. Teaching School Alliance is a dynamic partnership of schools committed to harnessing, nurturing and sharing the specific skills and attributes required to teach and lead in areas with diverse pupil populations. The schools share unique opportunities to make a profound difference to the lives of children regardless of background or potential barriers, where every child can feel encouraged to aspire, empowered to achieve and motivated to progress.

Drawing on schools’ collective experience and best practice, the L.E.A.D. Teaching School Alliance aims to be a beacon of excellence and specialist expertise. Resilience, resourcefulness and responsiveness to change are fundamental to its success in the ever-shifting educational landscape. Through on-going collaboration, the L.E.A.D. Teaching School Alliance will:

Grow Expert Teaching and Leadership

Identify and grow its own expert teaching and leadership talent, not only to benefit schools within the alliance but schools locally, nationally and internationally.

Bespoke Courses and Skilled Mentors

Develop bespoke courses and highly skilled mentors in order to provide the highest quality training for new entrants into the teaching profession.

Innovative Training Programmes

Design and deliver innovative training programmes for teachers and leaders that can be personalised to the ever-changing requirements of schools locally, nationally and internationally.

Research and Development

Engage in research and development in order to deepen understanding of how schools can facilitate the optimum learning experiences for children to achieve.

Outstanding Teaching and Leadership

Designate and broker outstanding teaching and leadership talent.

Deliver creative and high impact approaches to school-to-school support.

Become a L.E.A.D. TSA Member

The L.E.A.D. Teaching School Alliance is a dynamic partnership of schools committed to harnessing, nurturing and sharing the specific skills and attributes required to teach and lead in areas with diverse pupil populations. The schools share unique opportunities to make a profound difference to the lives of children regardless of background or barriers, where every child is encouraged to fulfil their potential, discover new talents and develop a love for learning. Drawing on schools’ collective experience and best practice, children across the Alliance are empowered to achieve and motivated to progress.

The Teaching School Alliance aims to be a centre of excellence and develop specialist expertise across the education sector. Resilience, resourcefulness and responsiveness to change are fundamental to its success in the ever-shifting educational landscape.

Schools interested in joining can join our existing hubs in Nottingham, Sheffield, Derby and Leicester. Schools from other geographical locations are welcome to join and form a new hub, supported by the Teaching School Alliance.

Membership Levels

Our alliance of over 35 schools includes both primary and secondary schools. For the 2018/19  membership rates, please get in touch with the TSA team.

Annually we issue a Memorandum of Understanding to all new and continuing members which sets out the membership package for the coming year.
